Saint Mary School, located at 183 High Ridge Avenue in Ridgefield, Connecticut, is a Catholic, co-educational day school for students in preschool through grade eight. Our school is a true community of staff, clergy, and parents all dedicated to the success of each child. Saint Mary School is accredited by the New England Association of Schools & Colleges and, in 2007, was designated by the U.S. Department of Education as scoring in the top 10% of all public and private schools in the United States, for reading and math achievement. One of our fundamental obligations is to pass on our faith to our children. We are a pilgrim people journeying in the company of the Master. We are fed on our pilgrim way: by the word of God, by the sacraments, by one another…. We are constantly being called to live gospel values, to grow individually, and as a parish community, to be prophet and servant, bringing peace and justice to our human community. Currently there are over 1,600 public school students in the religious education program here at St. Mary's. There are over 160 dedicated Catechists.
